Weird White Pimple on Blue Tang (Pics Included)

Hey all,

Thank you for your anticipated help. I am not sure if my tang scraped himself or it is a parasite. It has beautiful color throughout the rest of its body. It also looks very healthy and is swimming normally and eating both nori and LRS. It developed this weird pimple like thing on its side on the bottom end of its gill. It appears white sometimes and grey in other light. I have tried to attach pictures. I apologize if they are not great. The first picture really shows the spot, and the second is a side view. Please help!

+2 if it is a single spot I am leaning toward this also. It’s a virus caused by stress. I had a emperor angel with it years ago and it took 3 months to fully go away. Feed a varied, enriched diet and keep water prestine. Try to keep stress to a minimum
