IMO, the EM300 would be a great choice. You get a nice large body, with the Sicce 3.0 pump, slim profile and will definitely handle your aquarium even with a heavy stocking level. When compared to the CO-2 which is equally priced, the EM300 is simply a stronger skimmer.
If you really like fancy looking products, the CO-3 would be my recommendation for the CONE-S but you are going to pay a bit more for the same power as the EM300. -Robert F. |

Hi Luamada,
Quite an exciting project you are working on! Either the Cone 5 (UJ00165) that is currently on sale, or the EM500 (UJ00163) would be excellent choices. If you have any other questions, please let us know. |

AquaMaxx CO-1
The ETA currently listed in our purchase order system is 11/14/14. We have a ton on order and not too many backorders so we should have plenty of stock for customers once it arrives here (assuming we receive a full shipment from AquaMaxx).

Here's an odd question.
I have an EM200 order on backorder with you guys until you get in new stock. I happened to be looking at the EM200 page last night, and it said that it was actually in stock, so I assumed it would maybe be shipped to me today (next business day). There was also a little banner beneath stating there would be a 10% off Aquamaxx sale until the end of the month. I didn't want to get my hopes up, so I am assuming that was just a glitch. Is that correct? |

We do have a 10% off AquaMaxx coupon (code: AQUAMAXX). The sale began yesterday afternoon and will continue until the end of the month. The coupon can only be applied to in-stock AquaMaxx products and items currently not on sale. We only have a few backorders, all recent. If you placed your order within the past 14 days, give us a call today. We'd be happy to credit your MD account for the difference. Unfortunately the EM200 is still out of stock. I just selected it from the drop-down on the EcoMaxx product page and it still reads out of stock for me. Does it on your side? I show in our purchase order system we have orders with estimated times of arrival in mid-November, late December and through the New Year. http://www.marinedepot.com/ps_ViewIt...&child=UJ00161 |

In regards to the EM200, it also shows out of stock on my end. However, it did not last night. I verified on both my mobile device and laptop. When I checked again this morning, it said it was OOS again. I'll just chalk to up to a little hiccup, but I just wanted to inquire in case you got new stock sooner than anticipated! Thanks! |

Has there been any update on the arrival of the AquaMaxx shipment? Yesterday it had an ETA of only a few days, and now it's back to 2-3 weeks.

Hi Fade2White12, we are hoping to receive the shipment soon. However, there is currently a bit of a backlog at the Long Beach port so the shipment may take a little longer to get to us than our original estimate.
We apologize for any inconveniences caused. |

I tried in another thread, but perhaps I can get the answer here...
so I'm looking at the ConeS CO-1 on MD, and it says that footprint is 6.3"x8.7"... but as I look at the pictures it looks like the legs make a perfect square around the sicce pump... is the additional 2.4" taking into account the cylinder drain pipe? is 6.3"x8.7" the actual footprint? is the actual footprint 6.3"x6.3"? if not, can you please give me the actual footprint? I'm trying to determine if I have a large enough space in my sump for the CO-1...

Hi pREEFERED, Yes, the dimensions does take into account the drain pipe. The actual parts that would touch the floor of your sump is 6.3" x 6.3": however, you do need that extra 2.4" of space to accommodate the drain pipe.
If you have any other questions, please let us know. |
