controller tunze 7096. on mac

I downloaded from the site the latest version of the software, for MAC, installed as instructed, connect the USB cable, I start the aquarium application, after a little below appears written interface detected: on /dev/cu.usbserial-A8009lyN (V1.1.0.8) blond should be all ok, but by clicking on the send to unit or receive from unit button, nothing happens, I have a MacBook Pro latest model updated.

The 7096 has had no updates in many years. If it was previously updated for Windows, it will not work on a Mac. If it was never used on a Windows PC the most probable is the driver is not compatible with your operating system. You can download the current driver here, you likely need the driver for OSX 10.9 and above, the older one is what is in the download as it was from 2008 I believe.
