Any keep red coris wrasse
I’ve always loved the species and had one in a fish only system when I was young (20 years ago). Any kept one in a reef?
What it pick at? How deep was sand bed? Pick on fish? Which ones? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

They get huge and will eat all your clean up crew eventually although I’ve never had the cojones to keep one. Get one if you like to live dangerously lol

If you do get one, either glue all frags down or expect having to pick upside down frags everyday as they are synonymous with flipping frags over looking for yummy living treats.

I’ve already bought the fish but I’m deciding on the location 150 soft coral tank at work. Or 300 gallon LPS, SPS tank at home... I want it at home but I know I can’t catch fish in this tank. Wish me luck Quote:
Good point. Everything is glued and enchrusted at home and other soft coral tank they are all attached. I am nervous about the sand sifting start fish and smaller fish. Could see them becoming a snack. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I had them in the late 70s and early 80s when reefing was very fish-centric.
They were actually quite easy to keep and ate whatever I threw into the tank. One to two inches of fine coral sand should be enough. But, as pointed out above, they get huge, nearly 2 feet. It's the kind of fish you see on tropical fish markets for dinner... Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

I’ve picked one up on 3 different occasions and couldn’t keep it longer than a week.
