Best Chinese LED Lights for longevity, proper kelvin, spectrum etc for corals

Looking for studies or opinions on various chinese made LED fixtures for our corals. Evergrow was the brand of old. What's the latest new good fixture?

Thanks,
Tom'

Mars is greatly accepted as a quality led that grows all corals.

I had the evergrow it2080 for years, but some of the led's started to go out about a month ago. I just replaced it with an aqua helios r90 from reefbreeders and could not be happier. It's an excellent light with 6 channels that are fully wifi controllable/programmable through a phone app.

Thanks Yanez, they sound a little more expensive than I'm looking for, but I appreciate the response and I bet they're awesome!!

FWIW I just bought three Viparspectra 165w’s off Amazon for $120 each for my 180g. Search for them on this and other forums; people seem to like them and they grow coral. Amazon reviews are good too, and there was a very good 3-year test video on YouTube by a guy who had the same set up as me. Mine arrive Monday.

The viper spectra have the most desirable diode layout in my opinion plus a 3 year warranty. That’s one of the better warranties out there. You’d save just as much money using sunblaster t5ho units from Amazon with ati bulbs. I’ll always throw that in there

Thanks Guys! I bought the Mars 300w for a test. I'll look up the Viper Spectra too and might give them a try too. I have 8' to cover.

So after 1.5 years, how did the MARS vs Viper work out for you?

For the price you can't go wrong with either fixture..
I've had black box leds from Mars/Vipar/OceanRevive,etc... all are nearly identical in quality/construction,etc... Just minor differences in LED color choices/dimming switches/AC input plugs..

Occasionally you may have an LED die out on you,etc... (but the same problems plague the $$$ led fixtures too)..

In general they are all a great bargain and will last years and can grow corals,etc.. just fine.

Best chinese LED of today is probably the Noopsyche K7 PRO II. $150

I still prefer the Hydra or Radion but on a tight budget the K7 is pretty good.
