Most silent ATO pump??

What are your experience with ATO pumps??
Right now I’m using the Tunze pump, but it has started to be really noisy (so my girlfriend demands a new one )

It needs to be a 12v pump. But which one is most silent??

I had the exact issue. The pump got way too loud. I switched to the Ecotech Versa controlled by my Profilux. Now I don't even know when it's filling up. It's super quiet.

I love the EcoTech products.
But the Versa doser isn’t 12v, so I can’t connect it to the Tunze ATO.

Anyone who has tried the Avast Marine Diaphragm Top Off/ Dosing Pump??

My ATO pump only made noise when I ran Kalk in the RODI.
I ran some vinegar for and hour and it’s back silent.
I am really surprised the tunze makes a lot of noise.
Just checking...

im running a duetto. I cant say that I can hear the pump itself but I can hear the water going into the DT. I am running a 40g without a sump so I hear more of the water flow than the pump itself.

The tunze is only noisy when it's near the end of its life. Get a new one and be done with it.

Yeah, my tunze is dead silent and about 3 years old. A replacement is less than $25, and they do go on sale occasionally. I’d buy again

Do they still carry pumps at all? I can't find any when I search their site at all.

you can always just buy the new pump, not the whole kit. On my 5th I think.

I love the Duetto as well. Can't hear it all, except the water going into the sump. Just bought another for a nano I just set up.

I bought this pump.
https://marineaquatics.co.uk/shop/to...f-dosing-pump/
It says 12v on the page (so it could be controlled by the Tunze ATO), but the power plug says output 24v.

Can I still use it with the Tunze ATO?? :-/

What you should look for is just power, meaning it uses 12V DC.
You should be fine.

But this is what the power supply looks like

Well then I would double check with the place you bought the Avast unit from.
Since it is wired I would think the power supply should come with it.
