Agreed; this is the tank that set the benchmark of what an ideal perfectly aquascaped reef should look like.
Lots of negative space, strong focal point, great depth and a strong 2:1 ratio. Clear water, no algae, strong current and healthy fish. I thank you sir for a true masterpiece. |

Fantastic Aquarium, great inspiration. I saw a pic of a purple Monti with green/yellow polyps. I was curious what it is so I can try to find one for myself! it was around page 209 post 4177 3rd picture.

Long long time no come here.
Happy New Year my reefer friends. All the best! So far tank is at my restaurant. Lost all corals during transfer. Fishes are still fine especially my favorite one (Peppermint angelfish). Too much work, too much burden. But I still love this hobby.

This was the original 'large reef tank' that broke 1,000 gallons when it was first started..... there are 4 million + views for a reason.
Awesome tank and it goes way back.

Glad to hear your hands are still wet in the hobby! Our roads change direction sometimes and we get different priorities...however you still are a coral legend here on RC and any update is always welcome! I wish the best to you!
