Testing out my wife's new IPhone XS. I had to correct the contrast a ton and dial down the saturation and it still looks a little too juiced for my likes but here it is.

I couldn't export in 4k with 60 FPS as it was recorded natively so it's just 4k at 30 FPS for you techie geeks.

On Youtube press the share, then embed, and copy paste the iframe code. Nice videos, glad to see everything is still going well.

Hey thanks for the kind words! I don't get much feedback on this forum but I still like to post because I know for every one post, there are many who don't post but like to read along and I get it.

Thanks for reading through my journey and being a part of it. I hope 2019 brings you a fruitful year of reefing!

Yea I actually read a very long thread on another forum with you and bubba which made me want to see your tank and experience in detail!

Oh that Bubba... We get into trouble together for sure.

My thread on the other forum is the same as this one except with a whole bunch more dialogue with others. This one is the like build thread lite... Without all the other commentary and diversions.

Thanks guys! The clearer shots that are not so macro are with my new lens and I love it. They are so crisp!

Thanks for the inspiration. I get less comments on this forum so I tendnot to post as much on here but I'll keep at it for sure. Thanks for the feedback!

The pictures are indeed very crisp. Very nice shots. By the way, what lens you are using now? Your corals are very colorful. Thanks for sharing.
Happy New Year!

Thanks Westreef!

I use a combo of my Tamron 90mm for my up-close macro shots of frags, 55mm-200mm telephoto with macro extension tubes for closeups from a distance... Like a frag shot but deep in my 29" deep display... 35mm for fuller shots like FTS or full colony shots... And this new one, 18mm-200mm telephoto with macro extension tubes for that 18mm-55mm range I'm missing with my other lenses.

Most crisp to least...
35mm
90mm Tamron Macro
18mm-200mm telephoto with extension tubes
55mm-250mm telephoto with extension tubes.

I shoot everything in RAW and then post process in Lightroom to correct for white balance and also to match what I see in person. I try not to oversaturate or mislead in appearance.

Please forgive me for sounding like I know what I'm doing with a camera... I only picked one up for the first time last Spring.

Happy New Year too!
