Chaeto thru USPS
I ordered a small amount of chaeto via postal delivery from online.
When the package arrived today the water it was in was cold. Nyc winter trmp approx 50-60 DEGREES! Doesn't his mean the chaeto is dead now? Does chaeto survive 4 days without light and low temps? Should i contact the website i purchased from? There was no heating pad or heated element in the box at all... Im just wondering if its dead algae. |

Call and tell them this, better email them to have a written record. Put cheto in your tank, if it dies you can remind them this and ask for a refund. But I think it will most likley be okay.
