Thinking of using this https://www.amazon.ae/Alcohol-Ethyl-.../dp/B0869FCSDY it's significantly cheaper than vodka in Dubai about 15 USD for 4 litres. Can anyone see anything bad in its contents for the aquarium?

Just be really, REALLY careful dosing that stuff. If you don't you'll have an algae bloom something fierce, like you read about....
