It is 1 inch for the side panels, and .75" on the bottom.

I originally planned on just a few color morph of BTA but now im thinking one BTA island and a big carpet.

equipment list, is much the same as my current 50G with a few changes

ATB multi use cone skimmer when its available, until then my MCE 600 is going on the sump.
20G sump and a 10g ATO container with Tunze osmolator
eheim 1250 return
2x 6055 tunze nanos mouted on the overflow and hidden by rocks hopefully.
2x250w hqi reef optix pendants, someday switching to t5s and MH/LED spotlights.

I haven't done much planning, i dont even have a clue how to plumb a tank(seriously), this is going to be my first sump ever.

Will you be using moonlights? Blennies are one of the dumbest fish at night when it comes to carpets

tagging along as well, because I've always wanted to do an anenome tank and now I can draw inspiration/live vicariously through yours.

btw-why don't you drop the BTAs and just go with a awesome color carpet as the focal point of the tank?

DAMN!!! That tank looks like it can stop a bullet!

That is some NICE acrylic work! That tank is so clean and nice looking it should be on the front page of their website!

Just curious, why'd you go so thick with just a 14" tall tank?

because its 4 feet long and i dont want it to bow, FWIW both james at envision and the guy at a local place thought that 1 inch was the way to go.

oh and thank you for the compliment, Currently Steve Weasts tank is on their front page so I dont think I will get to bump him anytime soon

Lol, yeah, i don't think you'll be bumping Steve's tank anytime soon! but your's is sweet. That thing aint gonna bow unless you put it in a 10 ton industrial press.

Did they build your sump also or did you just pick up a 20g tank?

I love the tank! I'm definitely going to be following along this thread. I really like the concept of a shallow anemone tank. Don't worry about the plumbing, we can help you along the way if you need it. It's really very easy once you plan it out. Maybe I missed it, but what are your stand plans?

I'm going to get something a little smaller from James in a few weeks. I just got a quote and couldn't believe how cheap it was.

I have a huge old wooden desk that is built like a tank and i currently use it for my 50g stand i planned on just using that.

the key with this system is to be as cheap as it can be, while not looking cheap.

the sump will be a 29g tank because they are cheap and i will get Wooster glass to cut me some baffles

Im not too worried about the plumbing because between you guys and Dan at Salty Critter I will get it taken care of.
