6105 Controller flashing

Roger
I have a 6105 with the separate controller, the other day the pump stopped so I cleaned it up and put back into the display tank. The pump doesn't work, voltage out of power brick is 23vdc. I tried to reset the controller but all i get is a flashing blue light, any ideas?

Thanks
Rich

Is any other controller connected to the 7090? How old is it? With the propeller assembly removed is the metal shaft still firmly in place in the motor?

It was hooked up to the 7095, but haven removed it from that. I believe the prop is still attached to the shaft.

The propeller and magnet should pull out as one piece and a metal shaft that that spins on remains rigidly fixed in the pump. If that shaft is fused in the propeller assembly by calcium, that can cause the blinking issue.

Roger
The shaft stays on the pump and the propeller spins freely. When i put the pump in water it ties to start but just a quick jerk every 30 seconds or so.

It has a 2 year warranty and even past warranty we can repair it and it will be much less than replacing it.

Roger, I could not find the receipt last night, I did clean the pump again and the controller stopped flash and seems to be working correctly but the pump is still dead. What are my options here?

Rich
