Heater - Rena Smartheaters

http://www.drsfostersmith.com/produc...4&pcatid=18444

I need to replace my Jager heater and came across this heater. Anyone have any comments on this product? I have a Filstar XP and it would be convenient to use this as opposed to a separate heater taking up tank space.

TYIA.

I recently switched to these heaters and I am using two 200 watters in my sump. So far I really like them and they seem to be really reliable. I like that they are small and compact.

I don't have that particular heater .. but the last plastic "safe to the touch" heater I bought was a big disappointment. I went back to my Jager.

I have one of them and it works great. If you have the Rena canister filter then definitely get it.
