Two unidentified LPS. Can someone help?
Hi, I have these two LPS that I for the life of me can't find ID's on. I hope someone can help

The first one looks like some sort of Chalice coral IMO, but I'm not too sure about the second.

Thanks guys!
Yeah I've had my suspicions about chalice and lobo, but they just dont look it to me. The "chalice" is encrusting and not plating, and the lobo looks not like the images I can find. Notice the new polyps growing on its side? They arent connected to the oral disc of the main polyp. So it's not growing like a maze/brain pattern. But maybe that's just my inexperience talking. Any hopes for specific names for these? |
