DIY Led Build of the Month
Someone should start a DIY LED build of the month. How do these things get started?

I think by doing what you just did. Now you just have to get people to submit their work.

Hmmm Must be blind, not seeing the thread started by nuclearheli? I would not mind submitting my build. Nothing to fancy... just overbuilt.

FWIW, RC does have a thread of the month (in the global sense, across all subject matters) - contact a moderator or TRC member if you want to nominate a thread. The winning thread gets stickied in the appropriate forum for that month, and gets a reference on the site's homepage. The forum generally doesn't do "of the months" for narrow subject matters, given the potential for that to totally run away (i.e. would we then do a "stand build of the month," "overflow box of the month," "DIY skimmer of the month" and so on?)
