red sea refractometer calibration bolt stuck
so I can not calibrate my refractometer as somehow its stuck and won't move, it was fine last week and now it won't budge. Anything i can do so I can make my water for my water change?

I'd hold off until you can get another refractometer. Fwiw the Red Sea version may be the worst one out there. I'd order the one BRS has, it's pretty good.

Use a 35ppt calibration solution.
See what the refractometer reads. Add/subtract whatever that offset is on future readings.

the redsea like everyone has said is a piece of garbage. I have the BRS one and then the Milwaukee digital one and love it
