Zoas dieing!?

So I got this zoa colony about two weeks ago there radio dragon eyes and something red. It was a killer deal $10! But after a couple weeks less and less open up. And it appears like there actually melting away. I can't find any pests at all day or night with a flashlight. Am, nitrite, nitrates are all 0. Salinity a steady 1.026. Temp is 79. There in the bottom of my 10 gallon with a 18 watt led so it's not a ton of light. Anyone have any ideas?

Mine became a straight light and flow issue. I placed them high in the tank and like magic they all opened.

There's where I would start. Nitrates = Food for corals. 0 Nitrates is very outdated thinking and many reefers have moved on to higher nitrate systems with amazing results.

Get your nitrates up to 2-3 to start. This has to be done by LIVESTOCK. Dumping in food will only raise Phosphates. Nitrates come from fish waste, or nitrate dosing.

Essentially -- That's a recipe for starvation.

I have very few fish which are all small damsels and a 6 line wrasse.

and I have Nitrates.

I've got 2 fish in a 29g and I have zero nitrates and have for months. I need to dose them.

I find my stuff grows amazing especially my blue tub zoas at 3-4 ppm nitrates

Yeah everything in my tank seemed to appreciate the nitrates. Only one Acro browned a little but that may have been unrelated (Dosed DT with Prazi)

I know you stated you only have an 18 watt led on the tank, but what lights were on the tank they came out of? Also did you acclimate to the LEDS and how high are they set if they are dimmable.

top right ones look like fungus of sorts growing on them, might check into dipping in saltwater/peroxide mix.

Advice on how I would go about dosing to increase nitrates? I feed what I think is heavy but never have any recordable nitrates.

My zoa's look nice but after 6 months or so I have noticed very little growth. I know it could be many things, but this is one area I have not tried.

I follow the feeding schedule from The Fish Guy advice.

So any advice would be helpful, thanks.
