1/2" flow sensor not reading

it just stopped reading anything after months of working fine. water flow is fine. ideas? should I try to take it apart? or try some reverse flow?

actually got it working again. I took off 1 end that had a quick connect and pushed a piece of 1'16 music wire thru it.something must have been holding the impeller, because it,s working agaim
