Ideas how to detach clam from rock

Hi there

Could anyone give me sone advice on that??? I have a clam happy sitting on some big piece of rock (which is full of bubble algea), and since i want to do a complete restart to get rid of the overwhelming pest i have to move my clam too.

Its beem sitting there for like 2 years now so i assume its attached(?) On the rock.

Ideas please!!!!

Break the rock around the clam? It's best for survival not to cut the foot or bysuss of the clam.

I am afraid that if i try to break the rock, the clam will fall. Or? How firm is the attachment??
