Let's see your custom mounting setups

I used to make pump controller mounts out of kydex but have since started using my 3d printers to do this with far less labor and more consistency.

Here are some of mine, let's see yours.

Nice an clean. How is the Apex head unit mount? Would it benefit from another setup?

There are a bunch. I make my own most of the time so I can sell them. It helps fund the tank obsession. I've done some toxicity testing and am making frag racks, heater/Probe mounts and decorative frag plugs.

Very nice.

This is exactly what I plan to do when I upgrade to a 120 in a year or two.

Haven't updated this in a while. Made an apex display mount and some more random controller mounts for people.

The ecotech pumps anemone guard is a big hit

The anemone pump guard looks really well done. How much would you say it restricts flow overall?

I had to turn my mp-40 wes up by 2 lights to get the same flow after installing them. They can run without the front screen (I include a ring spacer to prevent backflow still) and it less restricted.

Be really interested in seeing what you do with the Gyre covers and how it works out. Haha, for sure it will look better than pantyhose or zip tied screen.

On the covers you've made before did you do much design tweaking for flow rate, or just rely on upping the output of the pump?

It's a juggle between restricting flow and providing enough protection. Can't have both. They do restrict flow a lot less that the dirty foam that ecotech ships with the pumps.
