have not updated in way too long...tank came in aug, stand in sept...plumbing/pumps, some toys, in oct...got busy at work and totally sidetracked...tank put on stand about a month ago...began plumbing a coiuple weeks ago, got 1 system in the tank going, going to get the 2nd system (overflow) going tomorrow...tank measures 120 x 3six x 32...
here is a timeline....some pics are duplicates...the tank out west in the stain both, before i got it...

Wow that's a seriously big tank! I thought about doing something like that for my next build, but due to financial reason I think I will limit to between 300-400g. Heating that tank will cost at least $300/mo. in the winter months in CA.

can't wait to see more build photos!

Wow amazing!!!
A few questions:
1.) Are you going to cover the tank (jumpers), and if so with what?
2.) Are you going to have an ATO container under the tank? If so, how big?

IMO get a huge school of yellow and purple tangs, a couple of other big show fish and call it a day

the top of the tank, like the rest, is bullet proof...three access panels,,,each huge and cut from 1 inch acrylic...

Are you going to have an auto top off with RO water under the tank or are you going to simply top it off manually whenever it needs it? I'm assuming the covers will significantly reduce the amount of evaporation.

ato will be added...may plumb that down the hall...looking into setting up a 300 gallon holding tank that will hold saltwater...plan is to have a small amount of water always circulating in/out of the tank...

it is an mrc 4...think she is about 3 feet tall...she will be outside the stand...between the wall and the overflow...building a cabinet to hide it and to cover the sides where you can see the overflow...
