If anyone is interested in an orange carpet like the one Woogiekids has, AquaSD just got one in. Looks like it's got a red rim too. Very nice.

Just got this and wondering what type it is, Never saw the small color polyps around edge before, got from another reefer who did not know. The column has purple dots on it, also visible in this picture. Its about 12 inches across.

Hmm... is that some kind of fire anemone? Tough one to ID.

Google came through. Looks to be a Heterodactyla hemprichi (Hemprich's Anemone). Anyone know good care links,i assume its just like other anemones as it was thriving alongside RBTAs and other carpets. but does not hurt to ask.

looks very much like a hairy mushroom i used to have mine was about 8" across... not sure if they get to 12 though.
