120g SPS -a-Palooza

What's your bulb combo. I love how natural and bright the overall hue is, but how vibrant the sps are.

Edit: never mind I see in the first post. Either way looks spectacular. Makes me really re-think my proposed bulb combo for when I make the t5ho switch

Bulb combo almost the same but changed the 2 purple plus out for 1 ATI actinic and 1 aquablue special.

Front to back
B+
C+
Actinic
Aqua blue special
B+

So far this has been my favorite combo very crisp clean light somewhere between 15k-20k

How has the sunpower been? Do you use the dimmer at all? Thinking about getting on for my tank.

I'm not so sure if I really like my LEDs. I think I'm going to regret selling my Powermodule.

Love the sunpower this is my second one. I use the dimmer a lil bit for dawn dusk . If ur goin to just turn the lights on and off save the money and get the non dimmable unit and used the save money of one of those fancy apex light timers.

Well considering I just sold my Powermodule, I think I'm going to get the dimmable one. It will make me feel better. Lol.
I have a 90 Gal. Do you think the 8x54 would be overkill, even if I have two of the bulbs actinic? I know 6x54 is enough(that was my Powermodule), but again I need to not feel like an idiot. For selling my Powermodule. Doh!!!!

Btw... Your and looks great! Can't wait to see your Hawkins & Aqua Delight grow up into colonies.

For a standard 90g tank the 6 bulb should be plenty but if was me would spend the lil extra money for the 8 bulb than you can pack the tank wall to wall with SPS.

No Zoas in display and 1 maxima clam in there that is not bothered by the Angels or MI. I had a derasa clam that the MI tried to pick at and have since moved that clam to frag tank.

The Queen and French are my holy grail of fish 23 in a 120, wow I have 19 in a 250 DT and feel it's starting to look tight. Are your fish still juvies?

They are two of my favorite. I got both Angels as 1" juveniles about 8 months ago the queen is starting to show some color transition to adult and is about 3" the French is about 2-3". Most of the other fish I have had for over a year many for over 3.

I love having a heavily stocked tank with all fish to give it some movement and it's the first thing people always notice.

All the fish have their own hiding spots and aggression has been minimal. I have achieved this by feeding the tank heavily 3-4 cubes of frozen twice a day, sheet of nori once a day and NLS pelleted 4 times a day with an auto feeder. With all the bio load and heavy feeding my nutrient export has been sufficient.

Last set of test results from early today with
Red Sea test kits
P-.02 ppm
N-.25 ppm
