Nice video of your tank! Acros are looking great and I love your fish choices, that queen is a stunner!

Your fish collection is amazing! Corals look great too.

Do the fish nibble on the SPS and cause polyps to retract?

The Angels will nip occasionally at some polyps but don't cause any damage and minimal polyp retraction. Think this is expected with most angel fish mine appear to behave better than most by keeping them well feed.

I guess the Moorish idol thought today would be a good day to take a nip at a clam instead the clam closed on his beak. Had to take him and the clam out in a small bucket and prey the clam open to get the idol out. Both are back in the tank clam seams fine and is open again. The idol definitely messed his mouth up but doesn't seem to stressed. Hopefully he can learned his lesson and will stay away from my clams.

Poor bugger. I once had a stunning pair of Idols until the larger of the two swam right into a carpet anemone : /

Thoughts on the color? That looks like it'll be a very blue look

It's not overly blue the Giesemann actinic blue bulbs are the same as ATI blue +
Only different with new combo compared to my old one is had an ATI aquablue special where a new actinic blue is.

We'll see what they look like once they burn in but looks very similar to my old combo. Definitely like the Giesemann super purple over the ATI purple +

Bummer of a day, found my moorish idol sucked to the side of a RW-15. Poor guy had him for just over a year Than went downstairs and found my algae blenny doing its best impressions of a dust bunny. Not sure what happened both fish seamed happy and healthy last night and definitely weren't under feed. Hopefully it was just a coincidence.

On brighter side of things the corals appear to be enjoying the new bulbs

Reshaped the left side of the tank to make some more space for frags and added two new Fiji colonies.

Wow.. Late to this one..
Very nice tank.
And a bold fish collection!
I love your scape, it makes the tank seem much larger than 48 inches.
Also love the pair of bubble tips.
Those new additions look really sweet!

Thanks the extra space is definitely an added bonus and not have to fit everything under a tank stand is great.

I have had the powder blue tang just over 1 1/2 years
