Very nice, I would love to hear about the tank too. You did start a new tank right? Are they all aquaculture or have you got some wild or mariculture too?

Thank you, guys.

Yes, this is a new tank. After seeing heavy crazing on the last acrylic tank, I don't know how long it will hold water. So, I decided to setup this tank cause I bleed reefing. LOL

Tank - Deep Blue 80 (48x24x16) L X W X H.
Skimmer - RLSS R6-i.
Internal Flow - 2 Tunze 6095.
Light - T5 Retro Kits (6 bulbs) and Reefbar Pro LED Strips.
Avast Marine Kalk Reactor.
Avast Marine ATO.
Temperature Controller - Eheim heater and fans.
Return - Laguna Maxflo 1500. Serve as a return thru a 3/4" SS and also feeds the below.
GEO 612 Calcium Reactor and Aquarium Plant CO2 Regulator.
BRS Reactor - Use for ChemiPure Blue.

Some of my SPS are from my old tank. Those that I've added were purchased from hobbyists and online vendors. I would say those from the hobbyists are aquacultured. I can't confirm whether those from the online vendors are aquacultured, maricultured and/or wild. I do know that the below is a wild specie cause I saw the colony and bought the frag in person.

October 2014.

As of yesterday...

Wow, your corals are looking so healthy. Very clean setup, I really like how organized you have it. Could we get a FTS?

Would like to see an FTS and please could you provide a fish list.

Thanks.

Very nice and neat, Nick,
Nice cabinet as well.
That wild frag looks exactly like a coral that Mark (markalot) has in his tank. It's gorgeous.
What do you think of the Reefbar pro? What color leds did you get in the strip?
I'm looking for a 'bling' led strip, now that I removed my AI Primes.
Also thinking about the reefbright$.....

Thank you. It's ugly now. Don't know what happened, but was prettier when it had some green polyps. Hopefully, the green polyps will return in due time. Here it is in September. You can see the green polyps. Sorry for the blurry pic.

Thank you, gents.

I don't have a recent FTS. I've taken a few in the past. This tank is shallow and long. With a point and shoot camera, each FTS pic looks weird. I'm sure it's a user error. I will continue to work on my camera skills and will post a FTS accordingly.

Current fishes are 5 Bartlett Anthias, 2 Flame Wrasses and 1 Royal Gramma. I will be adding more.

Than you, Matt.

I saw Mark's colony in his thread. I would say it's very similar if not the same.

My Reefbars are all blue. I like them because it's affordable. I have them for a year and half. Only cons I would say about them would be the acrylic shield that each unit comes with. IMHO the shield traps heat which will caused burnt mark on the shield. When mine had the burnt marks, I removed the shield.

Due to the overwhelming great reviews regarding the Reefbrite, I also would like to try them as well. Unfortunately, they are too expensive. :-(

Nick, you have a reputation for great rockscapes...I've seen your name mentioned by others. Hence why I wanted to see an FTS.

How much liverock do you have in the display? Do you have any additional rocks or filter medit like Siporax or Matrix in the sump?

As always, you're too kind.

I ordered a total of 60lbs of rocks. So, I'd say that have about 50lbs in the DT and 10 in the sump.

Sump - No Siporax nor Matrix. Just 3 compartments: drain, this is where I put the 10lbs of rocks, skimmer and return.

FTS - As of last week. Current aquascape will serve as a temporary "frag rack". I will replace the rocks once the SPS becomes colonies.

You know your corals are happy when they make a white ring around their base on the rocks. Killing all the algae in sight.
