Hey, Dan!
Question: (sorry if I missed this in a previous post)
Do you add anything (calcium chloride, magnesium chloride etc) When mixing up your INSTANT OCEAN salt mix... Or do you tweak parameters only once water is in the aquarium?

MgCl/ MgSO4 per 55 gal drum to give me what I desire. Depending on the systems #s will determine how dense I make the WC mix. TY

I have still been getting them but if they go away, I will use a T 5 actinic. Geisman or ATI most likely

Amazing stuff Dan. I personally have been collecting quite a bit of your sps frags from Joe and Ryan here in CT. It just does great for me, and hoping to pick up some more soon

canopy
Dan, I have a 200g. Which is close to the same size of your 180g. My question is, how tall is your canopy? I have a canopy which is only 12'' tall. I'm running 250w radiums as well, but am looking for a better reflector. I see you use Lumenarc III mini's. Just trying to see if they will fit in my canopy. Like I've said before, I love your tank and am trying to set up a system just like your's.

Hey Dan again this is truly an amazing reef you have. My friend Richie just picked up two blue torts of yours at the frags swap in manhattan last week. He kept one and I have one and they are so blue it's amazing. I think my friend Richie told me he bought them as Oregon tort. Can you give a little history about were you got your blue tort from as I always like tracking the linage of rare sps.

Thanks for the information very helpful and the frag I got is awesome. Your seems to be of outstanding quality. How long did it take for you to get it that big? Also are you giving it lots of light? I have mine 16 in he's below my radion fixture and she holding it's color. Thanks again as your Sps and tank are truly an insperation to me.
