210G Peninsula

I picked up the 210 A.G.E. peninsula tank last year, but haven't gotten around to getting it in the house until today. I'm looking for some advice on plumbing this thing in. It has 4 holes in the overflow box and 2 in the middle of the tank. Should I keep the closed loop system or seal them up? Trying to decide on the best overflow plumbing with this setup.

Forgot to add pictures and also to ask about the delrin(I’m guessing) on the bottom of the tank. Is that good enough or do I need to still add foam between the tank and the stand?

That tanks a beauty. Depending on how confident you are on how straight and level the wood actually is, I may add some foam especially with the size.
Great dimensions, can’t wait to see the progression.

Very nice start! I would love to do a peninsula someday. Personally I would not do a close loop system unless is was going to be fish only which means you will want to plug those holes on the bottom. You could bulkhead and then plug the bulkhead top and bottom to he safe. Or with thick enough glass you can silicon plates onnthe inside. With 4 holes in your overflow you could run your returns using the outer 2 holes and run a Herbie style drain using the inner 2. Just an idea but without knowing the diameters the is no way to calculate the maximum flow using that plumbing setup
