Green montiporas turning purple?
Hi All,
I am seeing strange phenominon in my tank. My green montiporas, including two different variaties of plating as well as spongodes are getting purple specks and some have purple patches. They have been growing rapidly in last few months since I have switched to Aquaforest balling method, so I dont think its a sign of poor health. Any thought? Lol, do I have a Violet fluorescent protein virus?

I have seen my spongodes do that as well in times past but don't have an answer for you.

So, I am getting a suggestion that is caused by excessive use of GFO? Not lack of phosphate but rather the iron oxide in general.
