Reasonable cost leds
Hi, I have a 4 t5 bulb setup on my 4ft x 20in x 2ft tank. The light is good but I'm considering replacing at least 2 bulbs with leds. I cant afford things like kiessil or hydra etc. I am looking at something like fluval marine 3.0, or dsuny? Any one use any of these, does any have any recommendations or advice?

I've used a reefbreeders 50-V2 for several years with good results. I think they're well built and Logan supports his product very well.

I use 21ledusa.com Reef Bar Pros. Absolutely love them. Have excellent growth, and you can get an optional controller.

Evergrow fixtures are built in the same factory as Reefbreeder's.
They were one of the first I remember having a group buy & were well liked.

Can you get Black Box LEDs off Amazon over there?

So I'm looking at the most cost effective solution for me which would be 1 59w fluval 3.0 marine fitting. I would take 2 t5 bulbs out and run alongside 2 remaining t5 bulbs until I can afford to change both. My next question will be which t5s should I continue to run? Blues, whites or 50/50?
The cost of the fluval light is around £230 which is cheap for some of you I appreciate that but its very expensive to me. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk |

In your case I would just keep the T5s over Fluval then. Fluval is using 0.5W LEDs (if that), so it is good for really shallow tank and low light corals.
336 LEDs produce 59W, thats a joke really. https://fluvalaquatics.com/ca/marine/ |

Sb reeflights. A step up from eBay black boxes still at a reasonable price.
