Just setup a IM Lagoon 25 in my son's room. Pretty cool little tank. Going the simple route, with heater, ATO and a Kessil 160 light. Would love to add it to my apex, but no easy way to get a USB cord into his room. I did replace the pump with a Sicce 1.5 that I had laying around. Not sure yetbif a powerhead will be necessary.

Yeah the stock pump is crap - not enough flow delivered with too much noise. I'm a big sicce fan and the only submersible pump I use. I think the 1.5 is enough through the stock hoses. I'm toying with strapping a MP10 to the side though.

Do either of you run the spin streams? I'm guessing not if you have a mp10... Thinking about getting them, but they seem kinda gimmicky

I used them at one point. Always seemed to get gummed up quickly.

Just an update, my two fish and pistol shrimp seemed to have survived the heater ordeal this weekend and are in the lagoon 25. The aquascape is not finished, most of the surviving frags are just put in the tank for the time being.
I also picked up an AI Prime to light the tank, and love it so far, I feel like I will never stop tweaking it, so many options. If you have a prime, what settings are you running? |

Looks good bud!
I love the AI Prime HD also so fun to mess with! Here is a pic of my graph, hard to explain what I made but corals love it lol my max white gets to 115% and I only run the Red/ Green up to about 25% max.

Is that much white too much light for anything that you've tried to keep? |

So far none of my corals have gotten too much "white" light. Mind you these units only come with a few of each color LED and only 1 Red and 1 Green so over powering the whites has not been too harsh on anything so far. I have all types of corals and all seem to enjoy the lighting

Looks great following along maybe getting a 25g as well. Might be interested in a floss holder.

I need to set up a reactor on my tank for carbon and gfo because I don't have a media rack. Currently I just have carbon in a filterbag laying in the back.
Debating 3 options: 1: mounting my brs reactor under the stand and running a mj1200 through it 2: getting a new reactor to put in the back, I like the IM mini design, but 100$ seems a little steep. 3: making a DIY reactor similar to the IM, I already have a couple little pumps I could use from my old Pico. Suggestions? What's everyone else running? |

You can find the IM reactors for $70. Just have to look around on the selling forum.
I went ahead and bought that 25g lagoon with a kessil a360we for a good price. Not sure I'll run that led or find an ati fixture |

Congrats on the new tank, you planning on keeping the cube you have or replacing it with the lagoon? |
