I assume you're NOT using the DOS. Whenever I need to revise code for for one of my BRS dosers, I use the Reeftronics utility that actually generates the code for you --- https://www.reeftronics.net/

It's just a peristaltic. I want it on for 12 seconds just after 4:30pm

Your code should run it for 12 seconds, at 33 minutes after the hour. I think your "If Time..." statement is cutting it a bit close for it to kick in.
The "If Time..." keeps the outlet off all the way through 4:32 right up until 4:33:00 - which is *exactly* when the OSC command would turn it on. I have a hunch if you make that "If Time" statement read "If Time 16:35 to 16:31 Then OFF" then you'll get your 12 seconds. Shoot... even "If Time 17:00 to 16:00 Then OFF" should work since the OSC command is only going to have it come on at X:33 of each hour. |

But I only want it to run once per day.

Fallback OFF
OSC 990:00/000:12/449:48 Then ON That should do it as well, pump should only be on for 12 seconds once a day at 4:30pm

Yeah... I get it. So if you program...
Fallback OFF OSC 033:00/000:12/026:48 Then ON If Time 17:00 to 16:00 Then OFF ... the OSC statement will turn the outlet on for 12 seconds starting at 33 minutes after the hour, every hour. However, the "If Time..." statement will then turn the outlet off between the hours of 5pm overnight to 4pm the next day. That leaves you with the one and only time it'll come on... at 4:33pm for 12 seconds. Your original code you posted isn't really wrong - it's just that you're cutting it too close with your "If Time..." statement and it's never turning on. |
