carbondoser not working (?)

Hi,
No matter what PSI I set the regulator to I just realized that I have no CO2 bubbles. My tank pressure is pretty low at about 250 PSI. But as far as bubble count at the moment, as long as my regulator is showing 4+ I should have bubbles, right? I've always had bubbles at 3+ PSI. Now nothing. I'm thinking the solenoid is not working. The power supply seems fine as the indicator light per bubble lights up. It's 2 1/2 years old.

Do these things just not last too long?
What is a good replacement (that I need asap)?
THANK YOU

Yea you are out of liquid CO2 so in a sense you are running on "fumes".. but besides that.. exactly what "carbon doser" are you referring to?
Anything from a dead solenoid to a sticky check valve to a leak somewhere is possible..

Need more info.

"IF" you are referring to those electronic boxes.. inside is a Clippard mouse. Should be a fairly easy replacement..

Here is a cheaper substitute:

Do you have a check valve? If so, maybe the check valve has gone bad?

And worse, if the check valve went bad, water could have gone up into the solenoid.

First thing to do is replace check the check valve. Then replace the Co2 tank. If that doesn’t fix it and the solenoid is “clicking”, then it’s time to cal Aquarium Plants.
