I heard that a couple of guys from Aquarium Adventure left to start their own place. If this store belongs to them, they know their stuff.

Aquarium Adventure has the talent for losing talent, they have a great store, good layout, but good staff that cares try to the right thing to take care of customers & livestock left for oone reason or another. smells like missmanagement, plus they are known for outrageous prices on regular items, I could understand if they caried hard t find, rare or Ultra grade animals, but they dont....weird.

132 Marine st., Farmingdale. I bought about 80lbs of live rock and 4 rocks with Mushrooms and Zoo's on them. I'm trying to nurse them back to life. There were slim pickens left. He had only a 20g tank left with some frags. Everything else was gone except for lighting and tanks. He offered me a 72g bow with stand for free but I did not have room for it.

I've never been there, but I would have made the trip if I knew.

He was practically giving things away. He had a 500g acrylic frag tank that he want $400 for. I found out about it through an ad on craigslist. He should of posted it here and he would of had a better turn out. It was interesting to see some of the prices for livestock that he had written on the tanks. The markup of some of the retailers are incredible. I guess they have to in order to stay in business.

I just came from Suffolk Co Fish and Reef; very impressive, clean and the help was very nice.

Worth the trip; I picked up a six line to replace mine that jumped. $10 cheaper than everywhere in nassau.

Awsome fish selection, and coral tanks.

I'm looking for a Six Line. How much was it and did they have more?

$19 was the price; I think they had 3 more. They really had an awsome selection.

Not a bad price. Did you check out their web site. You can be added to their mailing list and every once in a while they will email you specials.

Thanks

I just wanted everyone to know Suffolk County Fish & Reef has a members mailing list on there website. If you join up on line, you will be entitled to a 10% discount. They will be mailing cards out shorty. I bought a Six Line yesterday and they had me in their computer already and I received my 10% off. My $19 fish came out to less than $19 with discount and tax.

I saw them there. Great price. I got a Long Nose Hawk for $20 on Saturday. Less than half of what a competitor wanted. He wasn't eating on Friday so I went bad on Saturday and he was eating good.

I just picked up a couple of nice corals at Pets Warehouse.

Aquarium Design Network-

Is this store worth visiting, about 30 minute drive for me. In my search for a crocea clam i was told that they have a bunch in stock.

Thanks for the reply,
Steven
