225g Build
I am about to start a new build and I've got a plumbing question. I will be using a Neptune COR-20 as the return pump which will also feed a manifold. Tank has 3/4" returns and Neptune recommends 1 1/4", will there be any significant benefit in using 1 1/4" off the pump through the manifold and reducing to 3/4" at the return, or should I just use 3/4" all the way through? The pump is directly below the tank in the stand so we are only talking about a couple of feet before it is reduced.

Head pressure can be heard.
I would keep it alll 1 1/4 Until the final exit and then reduce it to 3/4
