Aussie gold torch

I'm thinking about selling my torch. It appears to be splitting into two hears. I see the retail prices have gone through the roof but what's a fair price for this piece?

When I got mine over a year ago it was $45 a head, I've seen prices up as high as $300 a head now. I guess it depends how quick you want to sell it and if you know people who want one bad enough to pay more. I'd probably shoot in the 100-200 range with a first post and see if you get any interest.

So I just looked a bit closer it appears to be splitting into 4 heads. Not fully developed but it's on its way. Maybe I should wait a few months and sell individual heads

You'd probably make the most cash that way if that's your only goal with no rush but ime the do take a while to split sometimes. Others it seems to happen overnight so there's really no telling. Just make sure you have some decent tools if you're going to attempt to frag it, it's not hard but I'd hate to see a head end up dead.

Just keep track of whats going on sales wise (bans etc) and wait for a good time to put it on the market if that's what your goal is.
