Does anyone know how to take good photo with S8?

I see great photos coming from Galaxy S8 owners here and there but have yet to figure out how the heck to do it. Anyone have the inside scoop?

Thanks!

photography is actullay a skill or talent. everyone will not have that talent though. There are some who takes best photos even with less megapixel camera and there are some who cannot take good photos even with good SLR

If you're looking to improve the look of pictures taken with your Galaxy phone, use pro mode. set your white balance to 10k, and it'll kill some of the blue. mess with the shutter speed, and ISO for brightness.

Software has a very hard time making up for the white balance and blocking some of the blue light. After trying many programs, techniques and settings, I determined that the simpler thing is to go the hardware route. Don't worry, this is not expensive and it will work with any type of light, configuration and device.

So do you know how to take a good photo with an s8 or just trying to spread superior theoretical knowledge? My current method for taking photos with my cell phone are to tape it to an exposed fan blade and snap the photo while whirring away at 500rpm. Thought this would be best. My 5d markii is hard to tape onto the fan but i'll keep trying.

Thanks, yeah I've been trying that but haven't had a whole lot of success. Will give it another go though.

Hmm, that seems like it works pretty well. Maybe I can incorporate it into a scuba housing. Good deal, thanks!

I"ve found that my Note 8 does a pretty good job in auto mode, flat against the glass, pointed level at the subject. It limits some shots, but it works for many. My phone also has a slider to adjust the exposure when you touch the screen on the desired focal point.

My Note also lets me shoot RAW. You might be able to do that and then edit the pics for better white balance in Lightroom.

A buddy of mine takes photos with his S8 and looks like it’s a 3k camera. I just got the new iPhone and wish I went with the S8

tkeracer619, just what is it that you are having trouble with?
white balance
focus
shutter speed (blurry)
depth of field
???

Pin down your problem and maybe somebody could help. Just saying you can't take good pictures leaves you pretty wide open to all kinds of replies.

White Balance mostly. It washes everything out.
