Breakout box got wet?

My breakout box fell in sump, is it shot?

Disconnect it, open it by removing the screws on the bottom and rinse it thoroughly with tap water. Let dry completely then reassemble and test it.

I would use RO/DI to rinse and add a rinse with rubbing alcohol. You want to remove all traces of salt and other minerals from the electronics. Dry thourghly before trying it. A gas oven with just the pilot on is ideal to completely dry it.
