I never did a water change when my long spine did that. It clears up on its own.

Thanks for the quick reply!
Well this is in a 10g tank and looks really BAD! Cream of potato soup bad!! I'm mixing up some SW right now and will do a 70% WC in about an hour.

I got it from Francisco. Don't know where he got it.
I'm holding it for him till he gets an asterina star infestation under control. I believe the urchin did the same thing in his tank about a week ago. Of course in a 180 the effect is not as severe. I did two 70% water changes and things are beginning to go back to normal. If it spews once more it's going BACK TO Francisco!!

Hey Sean, good to see you still on the forums. Do you have a tank set up?
Didn't really notice an 'off' odor. The little bit of cyano that was in the tank has gone nuts! I know you used to be a cichlid guy. I just started keeping peacocks. Just had my first batch of fry. Nothing special, just Aulonocara sp. from 'Under the Sea' Still fun to see the momma with fry.

No I broke my sps tank down a while back and haven’t looked back. I still have ALL of my gear and my back up gear so if I decide I have enough gear for 75-150 gal tank easily. With the second kid I just lost any tank time I had. Yes I love mouthbrooding cichlids. My first real aquatic passion were cichlids from lake tanganyika. Hope you and the fam are well! I mainly lurk these days but I saw this post and figured it sounded like my urchin
