Mysterious fish death
Sad to say that my entire shipment of fish died one week after arrival. All exactly the same way. Doing fine for four days, eating happily, then getting listless, stop eating and death after one week.
Two dragonets and I have thousands of pods on the glass alone of the tank they were in, so there must be plenty in the entire tank (155 gallon) One copperband, who ate fine for three days and then stopped and one watcher goby who simply disappeared. Water parameters were fine. Copperband and watcher both died in Q. Dragonets in different tank (with pods) Wonder if anyone else had back luck with Blue Zoo recently and if they have an issue with theit stock. It was just the fish. The cleaner shrimp and anemone are all doing great, so I do not think it was an issue with shipment.

Thank you for the update.
No, we have had no issues recently with any livestock or shipments. In fact over the last few weeks, our loss rates are lower than usual, especially for this time of year. We can certainly help diagnose your problem but it would be much easier if you emailed CS directly at customerservice@bluezooaquatics.com You may also call our offices 888-479-2583 Mon-Fri 9am-6pm PST |
