painting the back of my tank
no sure if this is the right form but i was wondering if there is any thing special i should clean the glass with. so far i have cleaned it with windex.

is it a new tank or used? if used i cleaned with a non ammonia window cleaner then wiped with water and if there was still salt I used a bit of vinegar...
Im not a fan of windex.. frankly I just hate the way it smells, lol I like spray-away since it is non ammonia based... |

Denatured alcohol will do the trick

I always use alcohol before painting glass, that takes care of grease marks leave by touching glass with hands.
