Stand lighting via Apex

I just set up my Apexel on my IM 20 Fusion and am having fun playing with the settings. The EB832 has some 24v ports on it to power accessories.

I am wanting to light the inside of my stand with some led strip lights but am unsure of what exactly I need to accomplish this.

Ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Vince

For lighting under my 120, I purchased (3) of these:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Then connected them to the Apex with this:

https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/dc24-...e-systems.html

To activate the lights, there are several methods you can use.
The simplest is to use Fusion to turn the outlet on/off.
More involved methods require a Break Out Box (BOB) in conjunction with a toggle switch, or as some have done, using a magnetic switch so when you open/close the cabinet doors, the lights automatically switch on/off.

I went a little further, I'm using a BOB with a lighted push button switch.

If you need more details, let me know.

Thank you for this. Could you provide more detail please? I like the idea of using a magnetic switch that activates the lights when the door opens.

Do you have a Break Out Box currently connected to your Apex?

Start at page 107, it will explain how to set up the switch. You would use a window switch.

Welcome!
Once you get everything you need, and if you have any further questions, just give a shout, I'll do what I can.
