diaphragm pump question

does it back syphon? or is it just like the aqualifter

It can back siphon (just like an aqualifter ) so we include a tee to make a siphon break and a check valve if needed. You can also simply put the output above the water line and this solves the issue as well.

Thanks for the reply. I have the pump already. If i have the output line loop above the pump with its highest point being above the water line of ato bin. Will if break the syphon?

My ato line is blue in this picture

....but yes, if you put that blue line above the water level in your sump, it will prevent back siphon.
