my personal choice would be something like 60% blue and 40% white (with a non-dimmable setup). The extra blue really makes the colors pop. But with dimmable drivers you can start with a 50/50 mix and dial it in to where you want it.

Google Aqua Illumination. There lights use that color combination, however they are independently controllable so make sure you read about any pictures you view to see how they are set. I personally like the 70/30 mix. Some dont.

biggest pain w/ that ratio is getting that exact number of LED's in that ration to work on the drivers. Plus color will depend on which cree's you go w/ as they have different lux, and at how many mA you drive them...etc

usually you will want multiples of 6 or 12 for each color, depending on how you power/drive it.

so like 6:6, 12:6, 12:12, 12:18, 24:6, 24;12, 30:18....etc so depending on the number of LED's the exact % ratio will change.

usually 1:1 works for those that like the more 10K, and 2:1 is better for the 15K crowd. Dimmable drivers however make it nice to tweak your color!

Thats my plan ~ 2:1 RB:CW w/ dimmable drivers to fine tune color
