ChingChai-

Your choice in equipment is outstanding!! Did you happen to order that skimmer from Premium Aquatics in the US? They just received one which is why I ask.

Was the tank made locally or imported? Whats going to happen to your current system? I hope you are not taking that one down...

Also being that Amano is one of your inspirations, you have no interest in setting up a freshwater planted tank?

Very excited to watch your progress!

Erik
Thanks. Erik.
I ordered this skimmer from Reefdepot in Singapore.
The tank is manufactured here.
I have to take down my old tank. It is too crowded. Not good for fishes and corals.
I am not interested in Freshwater. I just admire his tank design.

There are so many facets that I'm looking forward to, while ultimately, I can't wait to see some of those corals in this monster!

You'll have the biggest captive table in the world in this giant!

I wish I was closer to help with the grunt work!
Thank you. SERVO.

That planted tank is the most beautiful I have ever seen. I especially like the driftwood emerging from the top (all the way to the ceiling!!). It gives the illusion of the tank never ending. I also love your design where you have the sitting area in front of the tank. If that were in my house, or business I would fall asleep in front of it nightly Great work, and incredibly inspirational in more ways than one. Keep it up...the good work, the build, and life in general. You look to be very happy, and well.
Thanks for your kind words. Jay.

Maybe you said this and I missed it, but I did not remember your 3D drawing showing a removed piece of wall. I know based on your other tanks this is going to blow us away! Thanks for sharing it.
That side of wall will be decorated by leather material.
I will take picture next week when it is done.

Wow this is impressive for sure. I can't wait to see how it turns out.

I see you think Miracle Mud is very important. Can you elaborate on why you use it? I just dont see very many tanks use it or even suggest its use.

I use Miracle Mud for every of my tank. Some small tanks don't even have skimmer.
And this tank doesn't have nitrate or phosphate remover. http://www.reefkeeping.com/issues/20...totm/index.php
It makes my water crystal clear, nitrate and phosphate free and ideal for refugium.

The reason that why this product is not so popular maybe the pricing.
But for me, I am more than happy with the result.

OMG Ching - you and me have the same dream tank but the only difference is you are making your dream come true.

This is going to be a GREAT build thread. Nelson (reef depot) must have made his 2009 sales with your orders...

Can't wait to see how this dream tank turn out!!

No, I don't have backup generator.
Can't afford it.

In my living area, we never have problem with electricity shut down.
The worst case is only one or two hour.

I will use Tinanium coil with household-use air compressor as a chiller.
I will post details and pics when it is installed.

Now the room is in the middle of interior decoration.
I expect to run the whole system in the middle of June.
Fish and coral will be moved from my old tank later on.
