Clown Trigger color change???

I have a 7 inch CT that was raised from about a size of a quarter. I know adults change but do I need to be worried? He now has a striking red edge on his anal fins.Looks pretty nice. What I was worried about was the white ring around his mouth is turning red also. He still has the nice yellow at the end of his mouth. Is this normal ?

Yes...they do get a nice pink on the top edge of the doral and anal fins...mouth area will get a yellow ring around it with a thin blueish white ring outside it...here is a pic of a 10 incher that Michael currently has at nya...

Bringing back an old post. Not much information about the change in fin colors for clown triggers. I have a 7" one that has pink forming in his tail fin. Do all mature clown triggers develop this, or is it isolated for ones collected from a certain location.

So inevitably all clown triggers will have pink on their fins? Very interesting. I have never seen this in real life, but only in pictures. Could be I am looking at more juv ones at the LFS.
