Is this the beginning of red hair?

Hi guys. My parameters this morning:
Ammonia 0, Nitrites 0, Nitrates 2.5, Phosphate .25, calcium 440, Mag 1350, Alk 7.7 (rising it slowly to 8.3 with daily buffer). My lights are barely on in acclimation mode at 20%.

In case its important, I also posted on another thread that I have these in the glass which I remove daily, and a few come back (that’s a close up pic, they’re about 1/16”-1/8” in size)

Very little bioload with a small CUC and a CB shrimp which I’m removing before adding fish.

What’s the best course of action?
Thanks

Just looks like a new build maybe 2 months?
How old?
Nothing really jumps out to me.

I don’t think you have anything to worry about. If it’s new it takes longer then you think. For the tank to be super stable it will take a year. I have outbreaks of things for a long while in a new tank. Keep things right and they will work them selves out

Yes, it’s a new system just over a month old. Fish are still in QT. I don’t want to overreact but also want to try to be proactive to solve bad situations, newbie syndrome, I guess!
