Sorry to say.
But it seems that my 6095 is making noise now. It is about a 1 1/2 years old, I do clean them quite often. Any thoughts or suggestions. Thanks in advance PS My 6055 is not making any noise and they are the same age.

Most likely either the disk is worn, this can happen if fine sand or calcium build up causes it to spin with the drive unit and grind through the silicon rubber. Or, the same can cause the hole in the middle of the drive unit to become elliptical and wobble. You could try swapping the parts between the 6055 and narrow down the cause, usually the disk you could spot just by examining it, the blue rubber under the disk will be like a rubber band instead of a cup. The elliptical hole is hard to spot, but if that is the cause the 6055 drive unit will be silent in the 6095.

I'm having a similar problem with a used 6055, when you say disk, you mean the attenuation disc? I have been out of the hobby for a while and just getting back but my memory of all my Tunze equipment was that they were dead silent.

Yes, part 6055.740 attenuation disk. Good to see you around again!

It's really nice to see familiar and helpful people 8 years later like yourself. That said, dang it. I just ordered a clip and voltage jumpers, I should have added that to the order. Could have saved shipping

Thanks!
A little off topic, OK, a lot off topic but I am using a old school aquasurf to control your pump (even though your documentation says it is verboden) and I have read several places to not run the pump at under 30% as it could damage the pump. My question is: If I am running at a lower voltage than 24V, does that 30% still apply or at 12V would it be 60% or 15%?

You can do 30% at 12V, it has to do with how much heat the motor is making vs the flow cooling it as well as keeping it fast enough to be stable, like a gyroscope. The lower power in is fine.

Thanks for helping me add to that order,
Turns out that I probably didn't need the full 24V on the 6055 in my 29 gallon tank after all. But at least I have a snow globe to look at while I am waiting for my tank to cycle The bushing and the spacing tip (from another thread this forum) got it tunze silent. I have my pump on the back wall of my AIO biocube, the back wall is about 1/4 thick. I cut a piece of plexi glass to space the back magnet off the divider a bit.
