Do you use parent water or new salt water?

I have seen people using both parent water and new salt water for baby tanks. I seem to have better success when I use the parents water to hatch the eggs than if I use new salt water. Which do you use and what's your reasoning for it?

NSW because I mix water daily for rotifer culture anyway so might as well add a little extra for larvae tank.

new salt water, will keep water in pristine conditions. Frequent water changes still needed.
