MrSandman got me thinking about my wife and I's recent trip to Bora Bora. The view from our bungalow...

Yeah, I so want to be there....(sigh).....

Was it as amazing as it looks? Thought about going but the price has scared me off. I think I just need one or two good pushes though and I am there.

Oh yeah, it was really nice. Outrageously expensive but so worth every penny. Pics cannot do it any justice. It's almost as if you get off the plane and you're on another planet...or heaven. I would highly recommend going. Anywhere you go in French Polynesia is gorgeous. Moorea and Bora Bora are very special places, however. I don't want to hijack the thread though...

Here is another Tahitian Sunset shot from the lounge chairs of our beach bungalow in Bora Bora. Like soccerbag says, the pictures don't do it justice. Truly heaven on earth. It's like the game show Survivor on a tropical island but with 5-star amenities. Ok, i need to stop. I'm feeling depressed.

This is the light house at Cape Canaveral, just south of the space shuttle launch pads.

This is the Poseidon Wharf at Cape Canaveral, originally built in the 1950's to service U.S. Navy Polaris submarines. Now it tends to various Cost Gaurd vessles and naval ships. Off to the left are cruise ship terminals and civilian cargo basins. Just behind this shot is my favorite fishing hole, Trident Wharf, which currently serves as a base for the U.S. Naval ballistic missle subs.

The Indian River Lagoon is always a willing subject for any kind of photography...you know...minus the radio tower.

I think the radio tower adds character, a looming reminder of the human presence near by It would be easy enough to clone out if you don't like it though.

Nice pics.

I could just Photoshop it out true, but I can jog to the radio tower from my house in about 5 minutes, so it serves as a personal landmark! Thanks for the kudos.
