Saturation of BRS Sodium Bicarbonate Solution?

Using the recommended guide of 1 level dry measuring cup and 4 tbsp of Sodium Bicarbonate, how can I test if my mix is correct? What should the alkalinity measure at full saturation?

Thanks

It'll be at about 2660 dKH:

I don't think you'll be able to test for that, though. I wouldn't worry very much, but we might be able to get a result for a conductivity meter if you have one that reads over a fairly wide range.

Thanks. I was asking because using the BRS dKh calculator did not give me the expected results. I tried adjusting the water volume in the calculator to match the results and it just didn't make sense. My display is a 72 and my sump is a 29, totaling 101g, not accounting for rocks, etc. To make the calculator work, I had to enter in 125g as the total tank volume. I tested a couple times using the Hanna dKh tester with the same results.

I'm not sure what is happening. That's odd. I use a different calculator, but I thought that the BRS version was fine.

I have had good results with that calculator. Perhaps you are precipitating Ca phos or something else that is messing with your numbers

Sorry precipitation would mess it up in the other direction. No idea why your getting different results
